Groundworks Supervisor Required
Location: High Marnham, NG22
Rate: £28 per hour
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to work on National Grid sites.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising groundworks team and liaising with management. Duties will include overseeing:
- Provide direct supervision of groundworks operations on site, ensuring all works are executed safely and in accordance with the project programme
- Coordinate and manage operatives and subcontractors across multiple work fronts
- Oversee drainage, excavation, concreting and finishing operations
- Ensure strict adherence to company and client health and safety requirements and procedures
- Maintain accurate site records and prepare required reports in a timely manner
- Liaise effectively with Site Management and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery
- Monitor and report on productivity levels and quality standards
- Conduct and deliver toolbox talks and site briefings as required
- Assist with the planning and coordination of labour, plant and materials.
This role requires someone reliable, trustworthy and experienced within Groundworks
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Groundworks Supervisor
- Gold CSCS Card
- SSSTS OR SMSTS
- Ability to manage plant and drilling activities safely and efficiently
- Must have own transport (hybrid working role)
