Net Temps Limited (Company Registration Number 03614178) is a recruitment business which provides work-finding services to its clients and candidates.

The Company must process personal data (including sensitive personal data) so that it can provide these services – in doing so, the Company acts as a data controller.

This Privacy Notice will inform you as to how we shall process the personal data that we obtain from you via this website. This Privacy Notice will also tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

The Company will collect the personal details that you provide to us on our website for the purposes of providing you with services and/or information. In providing such services and/or information to you we will only use your personal data in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Notice.

Information Collection and Use

The Company collects information from our users at several different points on our website. The Company is the sole owner of the information collected on this site.  We will not share this information, except where indicated below.

Candidates

Online Registration – We request information from candidates on our online registration forms.  Here you must provide your name, contact information, the location where you are seeking work and information regarding the type of work you are seeking and your skills, qualifications and experience. You may also upload your CV to assist us.

This basic information is used to enable us to provide you with work-finding services (including the provision of suitable temporary, freelance and permanent work and/or information relating to roles that are relevant to you).

If we have trouble processing your application or require additional information from you this contact information is used to get in touch with you.

To offer full work-finding services to you, in addition to the personal data obtained via this website, we are also likely to require further personal information about you during our relationship with you. Non-exhaustively, this information may be obtained from you directly, e.g.: during face-to-face meetings, telephone calls or in writing (including our registration pack, emails and our website0 or from third parties, such as organisations to whom we have provided your CV and who have engaged with you as part of a job application, referees, clients, awarding bodies of tickets and licences, social media.

The company will collect your personal data (which may include sensitive personal data) and will process your data for the purposes of providing you with work-finding services (to include the provision of suitable temporary, freelance and permanent work and/or information relating to roles relevant to you), marketing services and legal purposes. Depending upon the type of data processing involved, we will hold, use and disclose your data for the following purposes:

  • Collecting your data from you and other sources, such as LinkedIn, CV Library
  • Storing your details (and updating them when necessary) on our database so that we can contact you about suitable positions.
  • To provide our work-finding services to you and facilitate the recruitment process
  • Assessing data about you against client vacancies to match your skill sets with job vacancies to assist in finding you the positions most suited to you
  • To put forward your details to our clients and prospective employers for you to be considered for vacancies
  • To place you with our clients and prospective employers
  • To keep you informed of available opportunities as they arise, other than the specific roles that you might contact us about.
  • To enable you to subscribe to our text message and e-mail job alerts
  • Verifying details that you have provided, using third-party resources – to establish that you have the right to work in the UK; to undertake relevant security and criminal record checks as required by our clients and prospective employers and as permitted by law; to check your employment history; to secure references for you, to check your tickets and licences
  • To put in place and carry out contractual arrangements and documentation once a role has been secured, which may include sharing data with your nominated outsourced payroll provider.
  • To answer your queries
  • To keep you informed of the services offered by us;
  • To directly market our full range of services to you (temporary, permanent and freelance divisions), and advise you of news and industry updates, events, promotions, reports and other information
  • To enable the smooth administration of our business to include our trusted third-party service providers such as IT systems administrators, software providers and remote document storage providers who assist us to maintain our systems and manage our data.
  • To help us to establish, exercise and defend legal claims.
  • To release personal information to regulatory or law enforcement agencies, if we are required or permitted to do so for example in connection with the detection of crime, or the collection of taxes and duties.

The main legal basis upon which we rely to process your personal information is legitimate interest under article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. This specifies that we can process your personal data where it is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by your fundamental rights and freedoms which require protection of your personal data.

We don’t think any of the processing activities that we have set out above prejudice your rights and freedoms in any way. Our processing activities allow us to provide you with opportunities to work in your chosen location carrying out roles that are relevant to your qualifications and experience and this has many clear advantages for you. We think that it’s reasonable for us to process your data given that you have posted the information to us via our website and therefore intimated that you require work-finding services. We also want to contact you intermittently by email and text message to provide you with details of vacancies that you may be interested in based upon the preferences you have given us.

We think it’s reasonable to process your data to provide you with relevant roles and give you every chance of finding suitable work. It goes without saying that in order to make sure our business runs smoothly, and to provide work-finding services to you, we must carry out certain administrative tasks which require the processing of your data. Finally, we have our own legal obligations that we are obliged to meet and have a legitimate interest in ensuring their compliance. Therefore if we believe in good faith that it’s necessary, we may have to share your data in connection with the detection of crime, tax collection or anticipated litigation.

Clients

Client Contact Form – If you choose to complete our online registration form, you will be asked to provide your name, contact number and email and details of the nature of your query. This information will be used to respond to your query and/or provide you with marketing information about the services that we offer to clients.

 To ensure that we provide you with the best service, we store your personal data and/or the personal data of individual contacts within your organisation. We also keep records of telephone calls and any meetings that its mutually agreed should take place. We think that this is reasonable in order to be able to provide our work-finding services to you. Accordingly, the main legal basis upon which we rely to process your personal information is legitimate interest under article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track users’ movements, and to gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.  IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Overseas Transfers

The Company shall not transfer your personal data or your sensitive personal data to countries outside of the EU/EEA.

Sale of business

If the Company’s business is sold or integrated with another business your details may be disclosed to our advisers and any prospective purchasers and their advisers and will be passed on to the new owners of the business.

Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our recruitment consultants or resourcers) are granted access to your information.

In order for us to provide the best possible work finding service, we require information from you.  We only ask for details that will genuinely help us to deliver this service. Data Retention

The length of time we will hold or store your personal information for will depend on the services we perform for you and for how long you require these.  As we often support candidates with temporary placements over many years, and potentially throughout their careers, the purpose for which we retain candidate data is often an ongoing purpose.  We conduct regular data-cleansing and updating exercises with our candidates to ensure that (a) the data that we hold is accurate and (b) we are only holding data for as long as necessary and (c) only for the periods prescribed by law.

Your Rights

Please be aware that you have the right to request a copy of the data that we hold. You also have the following rights: rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time where consent was relied upon as the necessary basis for processing your data. Job Alerts

We can provide you with Job Alerts by Text Message and email. To subscribe to this service, you need only provide us with your name, mobile telephone number and email address. This information will be used to keep you informed about the latest available jobs and to provide you with industry news and other information related to our services.

Should you no longer wish to receive this information, then you may contact our offices and you will be taken off our mailing lists. Alternatively, you may click the unsubscribe link that appears within the body of our emails.

Notification of Changes

It is important that you appreciate that we may need to update or amend this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we decide to change our Privacy Notice, we will post those changes here so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
