Precast Concrete Caster
Location: Retford (Own transport essential – site not accessible via public transport)
Pay Rate: £13.40 – £14.00 per hour + holiday pay DOE
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Role Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Precast Concrete Caster to join a fast-paced production yard specialising wet cast products. This position is ideal for someone with prior experience in a similar role who is confident working in a hands-on, industrial setting. Enhanced pay rates are available for candidates with strong experience and advanced skill levels.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am – 4:00pm
Pay & Benefits
- £13.40-£14 per hour + holiday pay
- Weekly wages
- Ongoing, long-term assignment
- Potential to secure a permanent position
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing twin walls, car parks & prison walls/stairs in a wet cast factory
- Assembling, preparing, and cleaning moulds
- Pouring and shaping concrete in line with specifications
- Carrying out finishing work and quality inspections
- Supporting general production and concrete-related tasks
- Keeping work areas tidy and adhering to health & safety standards
- Interpreting and working from technical drawings
- Assisting colleagues and contributing to overall production efficiency
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience within precast concrete (desirable)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (essential)
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
- Physically capable of manual work in a production setting
- Must have own transport due to location
Start Date & Duration
- Immediate start available
- Ongoing work with the opportunity to become permanent
