Location: Colwick, NG4
Pay: £17.00-17.50 per hour, depending on experience + holiday pay.
Working hours: Monday to Friday,6am–3:30pm
About the Role
Net Temps are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to join our clients manufacturing team in Nottingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong organisational skills and experience managing production teams within a manufacturing or precast concrete environment.
You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities, coordinating workloads, maintaining quality standards and ensuring production targets and deadlines are achieved safely and efficiently.
The successful candidate will be confident leading a team, resolving production issues and communicating effectively with management and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate and manage the production team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Production Planning: Allocate workloads, delegate tasks and coordinate resources to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Quality Assurance: Monitor production quality and ensure finished products meet the required specifications and standards.
Process Management: Oversee manufacturing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and maintain efficient workflows.
Daily Meetings: Attend and contribute to daily production meetings, reporting progress, highlighting issues and helping implement solutions.
Problem Solving: Identify and address production challenges, delays and quality concerns promptly.
Health and Safety: Promote safe working practices and ensure that workplace procedures are followed.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor productivity, work standards and team performance to support the achievement of production targets.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a production supervisor, foreman or team leader role.
- Experience working in precast manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- The ability to organise workloads, delegate responsibilities and manage competing priorities.
- A good understanding of production processes and quality control.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, practical approach to managing day-to-day production challenges.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
