We’re proud of our achievements and felt it appropriate to outline the reasons why we’ve opted to get our ConstructionLine Gold Award.
What is Constructionline Gold?
Constructionline is a pre-qualification platform that allows construction companies to manage their supply chains by ensuring that their suppliers obtain and maintain specific operating standards. Constructionline independently scrutinises these standards and allows construction companies to appoint suppliers (such as companies like ourselves who provide recruitment services) in the safe knowledge that they meet a range of standards which have been developed by the British Standards Institute (BSI) and which have also been approved by the Government. We feel that by achieving this standard, we can signal to our clients that we are premium Nottingham recruiters.
In essence, Constructionline accreditations help standardise their protocols which enables businesses to ensure their partners are on the same page operationally and that partners have plans to account for most situations.
What does Gold mean?
The gold tier is the third highest of four memberships available and requires suppliers to demonstrate that they can meet the prescribed standards for both Bronze and Silver Members while demonstrating compliance to legislative requirements covering a broad range of topics such as Equal Opportunities, Modern Slavery, Anti-Bribery and Corruption. This is in addition to satisfying criteria concerning:
- Corporate and professional standing
- Health and Safety
- Environmental Management
- Quality Management
- Corporate Social Responsibility
- Social Value
- Insurance requirements
Why Get Constructionline Gold?
There are many reasons for becoming accredited with Constructionline, however, we’ll detail the factors that made us opt to enrol in this prestigious program.
Adherence to PAS 91 Requirements
By enrolling in the gold program, we can signal to businesses that we have exceeded the checks mandated by the BSI. From Modern Slavery and Anti-bribery to diversity and equal opportunities, Net Temps is able to demonstrate an awareness and an aptitude for dealing with whatever the construction industry might throw at us.
For the SSIP Accreditation
By completing our course, we have gained an automatic SSIP accreditation. Instead of having to acquire health & safety accolades from various different sources, we can instead roll up all of our requirements into a single qualification, which not only makes these certificates easier to stay on top of but also enables substantial cost savings.
Common Assessment Standard
Completing the qualification enables us to signal to the industry that we are able to operate on the same level as they do. This guarantees a more fluid process between our two companies as the standard was formulated with advice from clients, suppliers and trade associations alike. Having an agreed-upon standard between two businesses can save vast amounts of time and money throughout the prequalification stages.
Pre-Qualification To Work With Larger Businesses
Some of the largest builders in the UK adhere to the platforms put in place through the Gold Award. With many of these larger businesses demanding that their suppliers have these qualifications too. Searches on the constructionline website are often seeking suppliers with the qualification with over 81% including gold in their requests.
