We are delighted to share that we have recently contributed to the educational well-being of children by donating 10 laptops to the Nottingham Schools Trust. This initiative was prompted by our awareness of the trust’s appeal for laptops to support remote learning for students. The Nottingham Schools Trust is on a mission to ensure that every child across its 36 schools has access to a functional laptop, aiming to eliminate any hindrance caused by digital inequality.
In alignment with our commitment to social sustainability, we seized the opportunity to make a meaningful impact following our recent IT upgrade. Instead of letting our old stock go to waste, we chose to donate 10 laptops to the Trust. This contribution is part of our ongoing dedication to creating positive social change and fostering equal educational opportunities for all.
At the heart of our decision is the recognition that digital access is crucial for a child’s educational journey, especially in a landscape where remote learning has become increasingly prevalent. By extending our support to the Nottingham Schools Trust, we hope to play a role in narrowing the digital divide and empowering students to thrive academically.
For those interested in joining our cause and contributing to this noble initiative, the Nottingham Schools Trust (based at the Nottingham Nursery and Training Centre) welcomes donations of spare laptops with functioning webcams. If you have any laptops you would like to donate, please follow this link for more information: Laptop Appeal – Nottingham Schools Trust.
