“Investing in people is an integral part of our culture and how we build positive recruitment connections. We continuously look for innovative solutions and business partnerships to bring people together and assist local communities.”

Our Core
Principles

  • Social Cohesion and Community Engagement
  • Economic Inclusion
  • People are our Priority

Social Cohesion and Community Engagement

We work closely with clients, social enterprises and communities to create key partnerships with stakeholders that matter. These collaborations help us to drive innovation and ensure that we place the needs of local people at the heart of everything we do.

Here’s just some of our valued partners and collaborators:

Economic Inclusion

This is just some of the ways we make our contribution:

Early Careers / NEET

We work with a variety of schools, colleges and universities to promote construction and manufacturing as a career. Providing information as to the opportunities available and their entry routes.

Our goal is to assist the creation of a stable pool of construction and manufacturing workers and encourage women and girls into non-traditional routes of employment.

We work with a variety of schools, colleges and universities to promote construction and manufacturing as a career. Providing information as to the opportunities available and the various entry routes that can be taken. This aligns with the Construction Leadership Council’s objective of strengthening the links between educational establishments and employers whilst also encouraging the creation of a stable pool of construction and manufacturing workers to support these industries.

It also helps to encourage women and girls into non-traditional routes of employment by exposing them to career pathways that they might not previously have had access to.

By providing access to a wide spectrum of career opportunities we also address NEET (Young People not in Education, Employment or Training aged between 16 and 24) by exposing young people to new pathways to future success.

On an annual basis we also offer:

  • work experience to post 16 students.
  • work placements to university students.
  • and attend school careers days to provide CV drafting advice, mock interview experience and presentations.

Ex-Offenders

We support the rehabilitation of ex-offenders by helping them to secure training and employment opportunities in local communities. This assists their resettlement, reduces the risk of reoffending and helps ease worker skills shortages.

We support the rehabilitation of ex-offenders by helping them to secure training and employment opportunities in local communities. This

  • builds upon the excellent work undertaken by prison employment hubs which offer training and qualifications in key construction trades,
  • assists the resettlement of offenders,
  • reduces the risk of reoffending; and
  • helps ease worker skills shortages.

As well as working with New Future Network, and HMPS we also provide assistance to the Employment Hub of Ranby Prison.

Ex-Service Leavers

As a signatory to the Armed Forces Covenant, we are committed to providing ex-forces staff with employment assistance.

Care Leavers

We’ve covenanted to provide support to care leavers aged 16 – 25 in the form of CV assistance, interview support and to assist work seekers.

Women in Construction

According to recent reports there were 340,000 women working in construction in the second quarter of 2023 compared to 1.8 million men. This is a marked improvement upon previous years but there is still some way to go before equality is achieved.

People are our Priority

We aim to not only provide a workplace where everyone can thrive, but also offer fair opportunities to all work seekers.

We are committed to providing opportunities which allow people to develop and grow, where they are happy, healthy and engaged in an environment that is inclusive, diverse and fair.
